| Veterinary Specialty Hospital of the Carolinas Adds New Internal Medicine Doctor
Cary, N.C. –September 6, 2007 –The Veterinary Specialty Hospital of the Carolinas (VSH) recently hired Dr. Holly Mims as a new internal medicine doctor. Dr. Mims will be responsible for treating referral patients from area veterinarians who have diseases of the endocrine, intestinal, renal and respiratory systems. She will work at both the Cary and Raleigh facilities.
Dr. Mims received a Bachelor of Science degree as well as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga. Prior to joining VSH, Dr. Mims completed an internship at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Va. followed by a residency in internal medicine at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, Texas.
