Adjunct Faculty at North Carolina State University's College of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Meredith Kapler received her veterinary degree from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a rotating internship at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and an orthopedic fellowship at the University of Tennessee. She also completed a three-year small animal surgery residency at North Carolina State University where she regularly worked at our Cary hospital.
Dr. Kapler became a diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Surgery in 2016 and has a special interest in oncologic and reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive surgery and cardiothoracic procedures.
VSH is unique in that it fosters teamwork and collegiality within and between the specialty and emergency services. The leaders at VSH put high priority on continuing education and keeping current with recent research so that their practices are really the most current that medicine has to offer. It's a good team and I'm so pleased to be part of it.
