Dr. Karri Miller attended the University of Florida for both her undergraduate and veterinary degree. She completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine followed by an oncology internship at Regional Veterinary Referral Center in Springfield, VA. Dr. Miller returned to the University of Florida for a combined masters and residency program in veterinary oncology. Dr. Miller worked from 2009 to 2012 in two, small referral practices before joining VSH.
Dr. Miller has a particular interest in lymphoma and other hematologic cancers.
I love developing close relationships with the patients and clients during their pet's cancer treatment. There is a special bond that develops due to the frequency you see the pet during treatment, as well as for after care, and the delicate nature of treating the disease successfully while allowing these pets to maintain a good quality of life.
