If your pet is experiencing pain, significant discomfort, injury, trauma, prolonged vomiting/diarrhea or changes in activity level, breathing or urination, don’t hesitate to bring your pet to VSH.

Our emergency doctors are available 24/7 to cover walk-in emergencies, care for hospitalized patients, and admit referrals that have difficulty coming to the hospital during weekday hours.

We understand that emergency situations involving your pet are stressful and difficult.  Our goal is to address your pet’s needs as efficiently as possible.

As with human emergency rooms, the most life-threatening cases are triaged first. There may be times when more stable patients may need to wait so that critical patients can be stabilized.

We understand that waiting can be frustrating and stressful for you and your pet, but we know that you would want your pet to receive the same attention if they were the patient experiencing a critical illness or injury.

We will make ever effort to keep you updated on an estimated wait time; however pets and their medical conditions can be both dynamic and unpredictable, so we ask for your patience. We will take all the necessary steps to ensure your pet receives the emergency and critical care they need as quickly as possible.
